Charlene Tan founded Good Food Community (GFC) in 2011 to connect small-scale farmers with consumers, promoting ethical and eco-friendly agriculture.


GFC supports local farmers and bridges the gap between producers and consumers, transforming how we think about food sourcing and consumption. Charlene's pioneering spirit continues to inspire and shape GFC, positively impacting farmers and consumers.

CULTIVATING FLAVOR


Joyce Santos, GFC's operations lead, is a professional chef who knows that good food requires good ecology and soil care. Supporting farmers from the beginning is essential to achieve this. Organic produce tastes better, and preserving that flavor is key.

FRESH, ORGANIC PRODUCE DELIVERED WEEKLY


Good Food Community's mission is centered around its Community Shared Agriculture (CSA) program. Through this program, consumers can become co-producers by purchasing a subscription box of fresh organic produce weekly throughout the farming season. This helps GFC's partner farmers by providing a steady demand that allows them to plan and grow what is needed while supporting sustainable farming practices and creating a more resilient and equitable food system.
